Welcome.

The stressors of life often can be overwhelming and painful life transitions and traumas can lead to so many things including depression, shame, anxiety, addictions and grief. We often struggle to cope.

Through the counseling process you will discover new skills to navigate life’s difficulties while empowering yourself to make healthier life choices. By cultivating connections, tapping into your own values and belief systems, and learning the importance of true self-care - inside and out - you can turn even the most

unwelcome circumstances into opportunities for a more meaningful life.

I understand reaching out for help can be challenging and sometimes scary. Please contact me for a free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.

A Bit About
My Approach

There are many types of talk therapy. One I often lean into is IFS, Internal Family Systems, an evidence-based model of therapy (click the link below to learn more about IFS).  IFS involves getting in contact with the different parts/voices we each have inside of us. I have been trained in and have been practicing IFS since 2014, having completed Level 2 training with IFS founder, Dick Schwartz, PhD, and neuroscience trauma specialist Frank Anderson, MD. In addition, I have been a Program Assistant in numerous IFS training programs across the country.

Whether you are:

  • in the throes of a crisis,

  • suffering from depression,

  • experiencing panic attacks or anxiety,

  • having relationship issues,

  • dealing with past or present trauma,

  • or have come to realize that your behaviors and responses are not allowing you to be the best version of yourself.

As an IFS therapist, I bring:

  • compassion & curiosity,

  • confidentiality & support,

  • playfulness & humor,

  • and clinical expertise

to your journey towards a deeper understanding of all parts of yourself and your relationship with others.

My goal is to help you find strength, healing, and hope through a personalized therapeutic experience based on your individual needs. Since 2010, I have been providing adolescents (ages 14+), young adults, adults, members of the LGBTQ+ community, couples, and families with a wide-range of psychological and counseling services to suit their specific needs.

Together you and I will develop tools to help you understand, work through, and shift destructive patterns and behaviors that are no longer needed.

I draw from a broad range of therapeutic techniques, including IFS, and I am committed to creating a safe environment to serve as a basis for a personalized therapeutic experience based on your individual needs, goals, and strengths.  â€‹

“All parts are welcome.”

Dick Schwartz, Founder, IFS
