Welcome

The stressors of life often can be overwhelming, and painful life transitions and traumas can lead to depression, anxiety, addictions, and grief. We often struggle to cope.

I can be available by telehealth or phone session.

Through the counseling process you will discover new skills to navigate life’s difficulties while empowering yourself to make healthier life choices. By cultivating connections, tapping into your own values and belief systems, and learning the importance of true self-care, you can turn even the most unwelcome circumstances into opportunities for a more meaningful life.

A Bit About
My Approach

Whether you are:

  • in the throes of a crisis,

  • suffering from depression,

  • experiencing panic attacks or anxiety,

  • having relationship issues,

  • dealing with past or present trauma,

or have come to realize that your behaviors and responses are not allowing you to be the best version of yourself, I understand reaching out for help can be challenging and sometimes scary.

As an IFS* therapist, I bring:

  • compassion & curiosity,

  • confidentiality & support,

  • playfulness & humor,

  • and clinical expertise

to your journey towards a deeper understanding of all parts of yourself and your relationship with others.

My goal is to help you find strength, healing, and hope through a personalized therapeutic experience based on your individual needs. In over 17 years of experience, I have provided adolescents (ages 14+), young adults, adults, members of the LGBTQ+ community, couples, and families, and with a wide-range of psychological and counseling services to suit their specific needs.

Together we will develop tools to help you understand, work through, and shift destructive patterns and behaviors that are no longer needed.

I draw from a broad range of therapeutic techniques, including IFS, and I am committed to creating a safe environment to serve as a basis for a personalized therapeutic experience based on your individual needs, goals, and strengths.

*IFS (Internal Family Systems) is an evidence-based model of therapy. In 2015 I completed Level 2 training with IFS founder, Dick Schwartz, PhD, and Frank Anderson, MD, and have been a Program Assistant in IFS training programs across the country.

“All parts are welcome.”

Dick Schwartz, Founder, IFS
